Step 5
Negotiation
The majority of personal injury cases settle before the time of trial. Our office has a long history of presenting strong cases for our clients to the defendants and their insurance companies. Our case preparation often includes the retention of appropriate experts. As a result of our thorough and aggressive efforts, most defendants and their insurance companies end up trying to settle with our office before the case goes to trial. This puts us in the position to achieve excellent recoveries for our clients without the need for litigation which can create lengthy delays. However, when litigation is necessary, you can rest assured you have hired a team of trial attorneys who are prepared to go the distance for you.

Step 6
Litigation
There can be any number of reasons why a case does not resolve prior to litigation including disputes about how the accident happened, who is at fault, or the seriousness of your injuries. When we have to take a defendant or their insurance company to task, we do so through the litigation process. The attorneys at the Arthofer & Tonkin Law Offices have an extensive trial advocacy background and are known litigators within the community. If it is necessary to file a lawsuit and handle your case all the way through a trial, we are ready, willing, and able to do so.
